Weed Gorilla

"A VFS Student made project, created in a time-span of 1 day. It won 1st place in the VFS Game Jam amongst all odds!"

HIGH CONCEPT

WEED GORILLA is a 2D Side Scrolling Platformer game where players take to the streets in the form of a Gorilla. The gorilla must avoid enemy obstacles, jump platforms and collect weed powerups to finish the city run and reach the bar to order a martini.

FEATURES

JUMP - Players have the ability to avoid moving obstacles in the city by Jumping. Players can Jump over barricades, moving trucks, and syringe missiles. Players can jump to porch platforms to dodge the city's obstacles. The only way to leave the game, is to beat the game! - you can't leave till y'all get that martini!

WEED POWERUP - GET THE WEED!
While running through the city, players will be able to collect the Weed Powerup by running towards and through it. This will allow the player to become indestructible, jump higher holding down spacebar and gain more movement speed. During their indestructible time frame, players will be to destroy all enemy obstacles without sustaining any health loss. The effects have a short duration so go GET MORE WEED!
